We drove back yesterday - usually we travel on a Saturday, giving me Sunday to unwind before returning to the office on Monday - but on this occasion our daughter has an operation to-morrow, requiring us to arrange a shorter holiday than usual. Until about mid morning, I was convinced that this was a Monday ...
